"The Dream Brief" is imagining a dense neighbourhood shaped around the client’s strong ideas of playful and generous urban spaces.

The site of the former Lumberyard is transformed with inspiration from George Monbiot’s ideas on "Private Sufficiency, Public Luxury”, growing into a pedestrian village characterised by compact living units, half-built-homes, possibility pads and shared amenities on a visionary scale. The manifestos very first commitment goes:
"We will offer Public Luxury available to all."

The aim is to greatly reduce the individual carbon footprint, by reducing the private area consumption to a sufficient level, yet offering an (even more) desirable comfort through common amenities and shared luxury.
